Moving Body - Moving Image Festival

A ScreenDance Film Festival focused on giving voice to social and social justice themes

Started in 2018 by founder and curator Gabri Christa, this biennial festival celebrates the hybrid form of dance filmmaking, known as ScreenDance. The inaugural Festival explored the depiction of the Moving Brown Body on screen. The 2020 Festival took place fully online and focused on representations of Aging & Othering on screen and in society.
